Use and Maintenance of Motor: 1. Uses in accordance with the requirements of the specification can ensure the normal operation of the motor. 2. The motor should be kept in ventilation, dry and clean places; if the preservation time is too long (six months), the grease of the motor should be checked, and its cold insulation resistance should be measured and the resistance value should be not less than 0.5 M Ω, if not, the motor must be placed in an oven at the temperature of 80 °C ± 10 °C for drying. 3. Prior to installation, inspect and confirm whether there are bearings at the extension end of the motor shaft (the extension end of the shaft can be manually light swayed, and the motor has no bearings if the extension end of the shaft can be swayed); if the extension end of motor shaft has no bearings, it is necessary to ensure that the coaxial degree of the motor axis and the spigotoutside the motor cover (spigot of the block) should be not more than 0.1 mm. After installation, inspect whether the armature can rotate flexibly, without wiping or collision phenomenon. 4. Check whether the motor connection is reliable. 5. Check whether there is dirt on the commutator surface and the electric brush slides freely in the brush box. 6. Under the idle load state, the motor (Series excited) cannot be allowed to be powered and operate.
If users must operate it in the idle load state, the terminal voltage must be controlled at less than 15% of the rated voltage. 7. Cooling air should not contain corrosive gases.
8. The maximum allowable current at a short-term overload of the motor is three times of the nominal value. Torque at overload at the time is 4.5 times of the nominal torque, and the time should not be more than one minute.
9. The motor is under one hour work system and is not allowed to work overtime.
10. The planned maintenance work should not be too few and should be done at least once a year.
